Today when we went to work we noticed a layer of snow on the top of the mountain.... And there was a definite chill in the air too...
YAAAAAY!!
Not much planned for this week, some golf for Jon and a hike if it is sunny sometime.

oh is that it... just a layer on a mountain, how absolutely wonderful not lol you dont get excited much
well i suppose simple things amuse simple minds eh?
golf? hes not even old yet and he likes golf. well anyway hi y'all hows it hanging
I figure if I start liking golf now, by the time I'm old I might actually be good at it.
But we're both fine, the sun is back out here and I'm happy because I'm not working in the diner while Robyn is sulking because she does.
Jon
Yay Snow! I'm sure you'll be sick to death of the sight of it after a while, but still, as we usually get over excited if a few measly flakes land within ten miles of us, and then promptly melts a thin mountaintop layer sounds good to me. And while we're all dreaming of a white christmas, there you'll be.
Lots of love us xxx
P.S Our Bob-Bob sulking!!? Surely there must be some mistake?
Still can't get over the whole golf thing. Do they have golf cart ski-doos so that old people can play in winter. You'd have to have coloured balls, and maybe moguls instead of bunkers. The green would have to be called the white obviously, and the caddys would have to be highly trained huskies, able to tell a wood from a wedge (see, I know golfy type words)pulling the clubs on a sledge. Well come on, that's not any more ridiculous than the actual game is it. Maybe you should invent a hardcore snowball throwing, avalanche dodging, downhill speed version. Now that sounds like a spectator sport!

Shut up, Mum. Everyone knows huskies prefer lacrosse.
We've got one bike which we picked up for free, trying to find another one. I bought some ski goggles today too for $15.
As for meeting people, we've met some but it is the time of year when its a bit transitional here, we'll meet more people in a month or so and we have new people moving into the house with us for the winter in a few weeks too, so hopefully they'll be ok x
New people.... well at least you were there first so you can make up all the rules and pretend that's how it's always been.
And of course Huskies prefer Lacrosse to golf. It's GOLF! But they're dogs, and dogs get trained to do all kinds of stuff they'd rather not do. In fact, that's probably why there aren't any Huskie caddys already, there were two queues, and the other one was to risk life and limb learning to sniff out bombs. Guess which one was more popular. If they had a choice I'm sure they'd rather watch paint dry. Who wouldn't? It's GOLF!
